Shipping policy
All larger/heavy shipments are transported by freight companies like UPS freight, DHE, Frontline etc.
Once freight leaves our warehouse either California warehouse or Chicago warehouse we will send you tracking number, so you can track the movement.
- Please give us your phone number - which is working and has a mailbox that works also, and is reachable where shipping company can call to schedule delivery. Every phone call missed, schedule gets missed and storage fees starts.
- Freight company will schedule delivery for all residential shipments. Please note that FREIGHT COMPANIES NEVER SHOW UP AT YOUR DOOR WITHOUT SCHEDULING IT. So even if tracking shows it will be delivered today if they have not scheduled they will not show. Do not wait at home unless you have been scheduled for receiving the shipment.
- When shipping company calls to schedule delivery, please give them day of your choice Monday through Friday.
- Freight will be delivered curbside. Drivers are not allowed to go to private homes by their insurance companies. If you want freight to be delivered in garage - This trick works request or tip the driver and he can roll it in the garage if its not too far and way is clear. Trick works better if request comes from a female..
- Inspect the freight before signing the paperwork. If you find damage please write it on before you sign and let driver sign and keep a copy. Usually damages are less then 1%
Transit time : Once order is received we ship your freight within three working days. On a average it takes between 7 to 10 days for freight to be delivered. But again, shipping company will call to schedule delivery.
Additional shipping services:
If your shipment need boat to complete shipment, we will contact you to discuss additional charges.
Please contact us if you want white glove delivery, place furniture inside or finish assembly, we can provide you charges for these services.
Back Orders: We remove all items from our website if they are not in stock. So if you see the item, we have it in one of our two warehouses.
Missed Delivery Appointments: If you are unable to accept delivery at scheduled day, please call back the shipping company at least 24 hours prior to scheduled time and re-schedule it. If shipping company attempt delivery and no adult is at home to sign it off they will charge additional $75. This charge will be passed on to you.
